Vertical Bridge Holdings, LLC. Completes Two Acquisitions in the US

Boca Raton, FL (PRWEB) June 04, 2014 -- Vertical Bridge Holdings announces the completion of two acquisitions in the US. The newly acquired assets provide Vertical Bridge with extremely attractive and in-demand telephony and broadcast sites across several states, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Florida, Texas, and Georgia. “We are very pleased to add such highly valuable locations and assets to our portfolio which will further strengthen our existing relationships with the national wireless operators,” said Alexander L. Industry veterans Alex Gellman, Bernard Borghei, and Michael Belski recently announced the formation of Vertical Bridge Holdings, LLC. Vertical Bridge owns, develops, and manages wireless infrastructure assets including cell towers and rooftops throughout the country. Gellman, Borghei, and Belski were partners and part of the executive team of Global Tower Partners, which was acquired by American Tower in October of 2013.

Alex Gellman, CEO and Co-Founder of Vertical Bridge was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Global Tower Partners where he directed all leasing, build-to-suit, operations, human resources and information technology.

Bernard Borghei, Senior Vice President of Operations and Co-Founder of Vertical Bridge was the Senior Vice President of Operations at Global Tower Partners where he was responsible for all aspects of domestic and international site management, engineering, regulatory compliance, and GTP’s build to suit program.

Michael (Mike) Belski, Senior Vice President of Leasing and Development and Co-Founder of Vertical Bridge was the Senior Vice President of Leasing and Marketing at Global Tower Partners where he was responsible for leasing and marketing the GTP Portfolio and securing build-to-suit contracts.

The company also announced that the following executives have joined Vertical Bridge:

Robert (Bob) Paige – Bob has joined Vertical Bridge as its Senior Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions. Prior to joining Vertical Bridge, Bob was with Brown Brothers Harriman for 8 years specializing in mergers and acquisitions and financial advisory services for companies in the telecommunications industry with a specific focus on the wireline and wireless sector. Previously, Robert served as the Managing Director at Falkenberg Capital Corporation where he completed over 50 transactions for telecommunications companies. Robert began his telecom career at Nortel Networks. He graduated from Franklin and Marshall College and received his MBA from the Cox School of Southern Methodist University.

Daniel Marinberg – Dan has joined Vertical Bridge as its Vice President and General Counsel. Prior to joining Vertical Bridge Dan was a real estate partner in the Miami office of the top international law firm Greenberg Traurig. During his 10 years at Greenberg, he handled virtually all aspects of sophisticated real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions of commercial real estate, financings, leasing, development, and joint venture structuring for individual properties and multi-asset portfolios. He also assisted clients with international issues arising from these transactions. Dan received his Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law, and his Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. He speaks English, Russian, French, and Spanish. He is the recipient of multiple awards such as Rising Star, Super Lawyers Magazine and was a finalist for the Daily Business Review’s Top Dealmaker of The Year.

Johnny Crawford – Johnny has joined Vertical Bridge as its Vice President of Development. Before joining Vertical Bridge, Johnny was the Vice President of Business Development, Network Services at SBA where he was responsible for sales to SBA’s national customers. Prior to joining SBA, Johnny was the Vice President of Engineering and Operations for Airgate PCS, a Sprint PCS affiliate. Prior to Airgate, Johnny worked for Sprint for 9 years in various engineering capacities, including as the Director of Engineering and Operations, where he launched one of the first PCS markets for Sprint in Milwaukee WI. Johnny also has been the co-owner of Optima Towers, a South Carolina based company that owns towers in the Southeast.

Suzanne Docobo – Suzanne has joined Vertical Bridge as its Vice President and Corporate Controller. Prior to joining Vertical Bridge, Suzanne was the President of Docobo Accounting CPA PA where she was responsible for accounting, payroll, and tax related services for a diverse portfolio of clients. For the past 4 years, she has also served as a tax consultant for Global Tower Partners, responsible for all US tax compliance and planning.
From 2007 to 2010, she was the director of Income Tax and Financial Reporting at Global Tower Partners, responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, taxes, due diligence, and assisting IT to develop financial reporting systems. Suzanne has over 15 years of experience in the financial tax arenas in a wide array of industries, specializing in real estate. Suzanne graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor in Accounting and a Masters in the Science Taxation and also has a CPA license in the state of Florida.
